Amazon literally generates more profit than SpaceX has ever made in total revenue, yet the two are neck-and-neck in market value. That's a testament to how much faith investors have in Elon. I'll admit the guy has made the impossible possible, and even if the numbers don't quite add up, it's worth remembering that before Elon, landing a reusable rocket was considered unthinkable.
