[Plaud Plans to Launch New AI Wearable Note-Taking Device, Annual Revenue Target of $500 Million]
According to Bloomberg, AI note-taking hardware startup Plaud plans to launch a new AI agent-supported wearable device later this year, with an estimated sales target of approximately $500 million by 2026. Plaud's existing products include the Plaud Note, which can be attached to the back of a phone, and the Plaud NotePin, which can be clipped to clothing or worn around the neck or wrist, starting at $159. These devices pair with a mobile app and allow for the free transcription of approximately 300 minutes of audio per month. The new device is expected to have a battery life of at least 8 to 12 hours and may include cellular network connectivity, enabling "always-on" voice interaction and AI features. Plaud states that its user base has exceeded 2 million, with the U.S., Japan, and Europe accounting for about 80% of its business.
