[Aletheia Capital Significantly Raises Micron's Target Price to $1,600] BlockBeats News, June 16 — Aletheia Capital recently released an extremely aggressive research report on Micron Technology (MU), significantly raising its target price to $1,600. The report predicts that the value share of AI memory devices in AI hardware systems will exceed 70% by 2027. In the report, Aletheia forecasts that Micron's FY2027 EPS will grow 8.5 times compared to current levels, with an additional 1.8x expansion in FY2028, resulting in a cumulative increase of 15 times. The report also predicts that the company will generate $350 billion to $400 billion in free cash flow over the three fiscal years from FY26 to FY28. In terms of price forecasts, Aletheia's upward adjustments also exceed market expectations. The report indicates that the institution now expects the average selling price (ASP) of server DRAM to increase by 30% quarter-over-quarter in Q3 2026, far higher than the previous forecast of 10% to 15%. It further predicts an additional 10% to 15% increase in Q4 2026. For HBM, Aletheia forecasts its ASP will double year-over-year in 2027. This projection is based on the continued explosive demand for high-bandwidth memory driven by AI training and inference, with the high technical barriers on the supply side further supporting an upward shift in the price center. Possibly buoyed by this report, Micron's stock price surged over 10% yesterday.
