According to local media outlet CoinPost, Bitbank stated that even if these services are based overseas, accessing them from Japan and deriving economic benefits could be considered gambling. The company further emphasized that once an account is banned, users will lose access to all functionalities, including login, cryptocurrency and yen transactions, as well as trading operations. Bitbank added that it will not bear any responsibility for any losses incurred as a result of such bans.
