China's AI Large Models Reach 18.42 Trillion Tokens in Weekly Calls, Leading for Seven Consecutive Weeks

According to a report by Jinse Finance, on June 15, based on the latest data estimates from OpenRouter, the global weekly call volume for AI large models reached 44.6 trillion tokens last week (June 8 to 14), a 23.5% increase compared to the previous week, marking eight consecutive weeks of growth. The demand for large model calls continues to expand. Among the listed AI large models, China's AI large models achieved a weekly call volume of 18.42 trillion tokens, a week-on-week increase of 29.81%, marking four consecutive weeks of growth. During the same period, U.S. AI large models recorded a weekly call volume of 5.72 trillion tokens, a week-on-week increase of 78.75%. China's weekly call volume for large models has surpassed that of the U.S. for seven consecutive weeks, maintaining its position as the global leader.
Last week, among the top five global models by call volume, the top four were all Chinese AI large models. Notably, DeepSeek-V4-Flash ranked first for the fourth consecutive week, with a weekly call volume of 4.41 trillion tokens, a week-on-week increase of 20%. MiniMax M3 rose to second place, with a weekly call volume of 4.32 trillion tokens, a week-on-week increase of 73%. Tencent Hy3 preview maintained its third-place position, with a weekly call volume of 4.14 trillion tokens, a week-on-week increase of 41%. It is worth noting that DeepSeek V3.2, which ranked ninth the previous week, dropped out of the rankings. This marks the first time since December of last year that this model has not appeared on the list.
