According to Wu Blockchain, Zelle's operator, Early Warning Services, announced that India will be the first country where U.S. users can send remittances to overseas friends and family via Zelle. The service is expected to launch by the end of this year. The company also introduced its own USD-backed stablecoin, ZelleUSD (ZLUSD), to support future international payment capabilities in other markets. More details will be revealed in the coming months. Early Warning Services is jointly owned by seven U.S. financial institutions, including Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, and Wells Fargo.
