Joseph Lubin: Ethereum will transform into a zero knowledge proof based protocol within 3 to 5 years

Consensys CEO Joseph Lubin stated that Ethereum will transition to a zero knowledge proof based protocol within the next 3 to 5 years. The Lean Ethereum project aims to achieve over 10000 transactions per second. Joseph Lubin denied the existence of a second foundation and cited The Block report stating that the Ethereum Foundation will continue to focus on core protocol development.
