Ripple launches XRPL Agent payment development toolkit to support AI trading and settlement

According to The Block, Ripple has launched an intelligent agent payment toolkit for developers on XRP Ledger (XRPL), which supports building automated payment applications driven by AI agents. The toolkit supports payment based on x402 protocol, and uses XRP and Ripple USD (RLUSD) to complete native settlement on the Internet. The IC3 research team points out that even when combined with blockchain infrastructure, AI agents will still rely on humans and underlying systems and will not become fully autonomous anonymous entities.
