Kenya is working with partners across the world to expand markets for our products, attract investment, and promote local manufacturing and value addition. Our leadership in floriculture and our strong position in the global flower market remain critical to growing exports and reinforcing Kenya’s reputation for quality, sustainability, and innovation.
To support this growth, we are expanding cold-chain logistics and strengthening market access for Kenyan producers through the Kenya–European Union Economic Partnership Agreement, creating new opportunities for farmers and agribusinesses alike.
Partnerships with global industry leaders such as Yara International are equally important in advancing agricultural productivity, food security, and climate-smart farming. Together, we can unlock new opportunities for farmers, accelerate agricultural transformation, and create greater prosperity across the value chain.
Held productive discussions in Oslo with Mr. Erling Ølstad of Mester Grønn and Mr. Magnus Krogh Ankarstrand of Yara International on strengthening cooperation in these areas and expanding opportunities for Kenyan producers in international markets.(William Samoei Ruto, PhD)
