Met with Ambassadors of EU Member States accredited to Lithuania. We discussed EU security, competitiveness, and enlargement. The EU must stay united and strong in the face of security challenges. Russia’s hybrid pressure on Europe continues and demands a firm, coordinated response. Europe must also unlock its competitiveness – by strengthening the Single Market, advancing capital markets integration, and reducing barriers to investment. Enlargement remains a strategic priority. Ukraine, Moldova, and the Western Balkans belong firmly on the EU path, based on merit and reforms. Lithuania is preparing for its 2027 EU Council Presidency – and remains committed to a stronger, more resilient Europe.(Gitanas Nausėda)
