Wu Blockchain has learned that Missouri resident Saif Faiq has pleaded guilty in a Connecticut federal court to participating in a conspiracy involving the robbery and kidnapping related to Bitcoin assets. Prosecutors stated that in August 2024, the group involved hijacked a Lamborghini Urus in Danbury, Connecticut, and kidnapped two individuals inside the vehicle. The victims were the parents of a person allegedly involved in stealing hundreds of millions of dollars in Bitcoin. Investigations revealed that Faiq was responsible for recruiting participants, traveling to the area to help plan the home invasion and kidnapping, and assisting in surveilling the victims to obtain a portion of the stolen Bitcoin. Faiq has pleaded guilty to "conspiracy to commit Hobbs Act Robbery," which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. Sentencing is scheduled for August 28. His brother, Adam Iza, had previously pleaded guilty to the same charge. https://(wublock123.com)/news/missouri-resident-saif-faiq-pleads-guilty-bitcoin-kidnapping-plot-62429
