[Over 200 Institutions, Including Coinbase, Urge U.S. Senate to Vote on the 'Digital Asset Market Clarity Act']
According to The Block, more than 200 crypto-related companies and organizations (including Coinbase, Ripple, Kraken, a16z, Circle, Binance US, etc.) have jointly sent a letter to U.S. Senate bipartisan leaders John Thune and Chuck Schumer, urging them to bring the 'Digital Asset Market Clarity Act' to a full Senate vote. The letter states that the bill would establish a federal regulatory framework for the digital asset market, clarify regulatory responsibilities, provide a viable registration pathway, and protect software developers, enabling more digital asset activities to take place within a compliant U.S. market. Previously, the bill had passed the Senate Banking Committee with bipartisan support and is now set to move to the Senate floor for review.
