[Bitcoin Falls Below 2024 U.S. Election Day Closing Price] Odaily Planet Daily News: Bitcoin continued its decline this week, recently trading at $60,619, approximately 12.6% lower than the $69,355 closing price on November 5, 2024, U.S. Election Day. It briefly fell below $60,000, marking the first time since 2024, and has dropped nearly 52% from its all-time high. After Trump's re-election in 2024, Bitcoin surged above $75,000 and reached approximately $109,000 in January 2025. In October 2025, Bitcoin hit a peak of $126,080 but subsequently dropped from above $121,000 to $106,000 during a $19 billion liquidation in the crypto market. In January 2026, Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows exceeding $1.5 billion. At the end of May, Michael Saylor's Strategy sold 32 Bitcoins, worth approximately $2.5 million. Recently, Trump stated he would not disappoint the crypto industry.
