what ❓ If you have $2000 in your Fidelity account, you can participate in the subscription ❓
Fidelity, which Musk personally forwarded, is currently the traditional brokerage firm that I have seen clearly disclosing on its public page that ordinary retail investors can submit their intention to apply for SpaceX IPO.
Details disclosed on official websites that can be followed ⬇️
The rules for retail participation in SpaceX IPO disclosed by Fidelity:
1. Threshold: If you have $2000 or more in your Fidelity retail broker account, you can try to participate.
2. Reason: SpaceX has reserved up to 30% for retail investors this time, which is higher than the common 5% -10% for ordinary IPOs, so Fidelity has lowered the participation threshold.
3. Entrance: http://(Fidelity. com)/IPO Calendar for IPO, find SpaceX and click on Participate.
4. This is not placing an order directly, but submitting an IOI, which is an indication of interest, expressing 'how many shares do you want to buy at most'.
5. Subscription quantity: Minimum 1 share, increasing by 1 share, maximum 1000000 shares.
Submitting IOI does not guarantee winning the bid. Fidelity explicitly stated that they may receive some, all, or not a single share.
If the demand exceeds the share that Fidelity receives from the issuer, Fidelity will allocate it using a lottery method.
8. Pricing needs to be confirmed twice that night: after the registration statement takes effect and the IPO pricing is set, usually after 7:00 pm in the East Coast, the IOI must be confirmed before it becomes an order to buy at the IPO price.
When confirming pricing, only the quantity can be confirmed or reduced, and the quantity cannot be increased; If not confirmed, it will no longer be eligible.
10. Allocation is usually completed the morning after pricing, usually before 9:30 AM in the East Coast.
11. If allocated, full payment must be made within one working day after the stock starts trading in the secondary market; Payment cannot be made using credit cards, cash, or proceeds from selling allocated stocks.
12. Selling restriction: Selling within the first 15 natural days after allocation will be considered as flipping. The first restriction on future IPO eligibility is 6 months, the second is 1 year, and the third is permanently restricted according to SSN.
Fidelity is a well-established financial services company in the United States, with the full name Fidelity Investments, commonly known as "Fidelity Investments" in Chinese. It is a regulated traditional securities/financial institution in the United States that can serve as an entry point for retail customers in the underwriting and distribution chain, allowing eligible ordinary investors to submit IPO subscription intentions.
