SpaceX uses a 17 minute video to promote IPO to retail investors, explain future vision and outline grand goals
Golden Finance reported that on June 4th, SpaceX launched an IPO promotion to retail investors through a video on Thursday morning. In this video, Chief Financial Officer Bret Johnsen connects the company's rocket, satellite, and artificial intelligence businesses. This 17 minute demonstration video is one of the actions taken by the company led by Elon Musk to attract ordinary investors worldwide. According to previous media reports, these buyers are a key component of SpaceX's IPO strategy, with up to 30% of the $75 billion issuance going to these investors. Johnsen is the only person appearing in the video. He first introduced himself as the only Chief Financial Officer in the history of the company. The video is located on the company's website spaceipo.com, with prominent prompts encouraging visitors to open a brokerage account. Johnsen said, "Elon's goal in founding SpaceX is to change humanity and make us a multi planet species. It is very exciting that we have been able to expand this vision through the Starlink constellation and our AI solutions. ”This roadshow listed some future goals, but did not specify the specific implementation time, including increasing the gross profit margin from 49% last year to about 70% and achieving a net profit margin of about 45%, which was negative 26% last year. The company outlined ambitious goals in the video, including sending data centers into space. The video also introduces its business, including reusable rockets and Starlink satellite system, which provides broadband Internet access for the earth.
