Coinbase freezes over $3 million in Southeast Asian cryptocurrency fraud funds

According to Cointelegraph, Coinbase has frozen over $3 million worth of cryptocurrency related to Southeast Asian cryptocurrency fraud networks. This is part of the "Disruption Week" campaign led by the Fraud Center of the US Department of Justice, Meta、 Microsoft and Starlink are also involved in cutting off the servers and hosting infrastructure of the fraud network, disrupting the criminal activities of over 1.4 million social media and email accounts. The Royal Thai Police Anti Fraud Center has made multiple arrests. The US Department of Justice has stated that investment fraud and pig killing schemes are the fastest-growing and most financially destructive types of fraud targeting Americans.
