This advantage is pretty obvious!
First off, in terms of costs, Binance's U.S. stock trading fees are similar to IBKR, and much lower than Tiger Brokers and Futu. Plus, you're buying actual U.S. stocks, not U.S. stock tokens.
As for compliance, the U.S. stock business operates under the 'introducing broker + clearing broker' model. Nest Trading handles order routing, while Alpaca takes care of trade execution, clearing, settlement, and asset custody.
The underlying broker, Nest Trading, is a Binance-owned entity licensed and registered with the Abu Dhabi regulator. Meanwhile, execution, clearing, and custody are handled by Alpaca Securities, a U.S.-licensed broker-dealer registered with the SEC, and a member of FINRA and SIPC.
