Paul Atkins: SEC advances modernization of digital asset regulation

Paul Atkins, Chairman of the US Securities and Exchange Commission, stated that the SEC is advancing the modernization of digital asset regulation, clarifying the attributes of digital asset securities, studying the exemption mechanism for tokenized listed securities, and the regulatory applicability of on chain trading systems. At the same time, he proposed reducing excessive disclosure and regulatory burden, lowering compliance costs for listed companies, and proposing to revoke climate disclosure rules.
