Serenity, the 'new stock god', is optimistic about the explosive demand for power transformers and is betting that HPS. A has risen by over 83%
According to BlockBeats, on May 29th, the "new stock god" Serenity announced that Hammond Power Solutions (HPS. A) is approaching a critical milestone of "2 million timeframes", and its stock price has risen 83.3% since then. It jokingly referred to the company as "Transformers in the Sky" and stated that the current global demand for transformers is highly visible, with a steady backlog of orders and a high market share in the dry-type transformer market. Serenity believes that although HPS. A's trend is not a typical parabolic surge, it looks like an "extremely attractive long-term compound interest company". Previously, Serenity analyzed that the real bottleneck for the expansion of global AI data centers is not GPUs, but transformers and high-voltage switchgear, and revealed that they have long Hammond Power Solutions (HPS. A). Serenity pointed out that HPS occupies about 23% of the dry-type transformer market, while covering the supply chain of liquid cooled transformers and switchgear, which currently face a supply bottleneck of 2 to 5 years for these critical power infrastructure. It believes that as technology giants such as Amazon, Microsoft, Meta Platforms, Alphabet, and Oracle Corporation compete for AI data center construction resources, the price of transformer components may continue to rise in the future, just like NAND flash memory. Serenity cited industry data stating that about half of data center construction projects in the United States have been delayed or cancelled due to power infrastructure shortages, while Canada and Mexico have become important sources of supply for high-power transformers in AI data centers. HPS is simultaneously expanding its production capacity in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. It also emphasizes that HPS's customers even include large electrical equipment manufacturers such as Powell and Eaton, which purchase HPS transformers and integrate them into their own switchgear.
