$8.3M worth of Bitcoin sent to a black hole for destruction?
First off, big thanks to the bro for his outstanding contribution to the Bitcoin community. bitcoin:native
But let’s be real, this definitely wasn’t an accident!
Five wallets that had been dormant for 11 years suddenly became active, and all sent to the same famous burn address—this was intentional, no doubt.
Don’t ask why. If you must ask, it’s performance art!
A kind of religious-like, Bitcoin fundamentalist act. Just like @satofishi Wang Chun once said, if someone unfortunately passes away, they wouldn’t preserve their Bitcoin private keys, letting them vanish forever.
A lot of early evangelists really had this mindset. To them, wealth is fleeting and meaningless—they’ve reached another level, another dimension. Honestly, most of us, myself included, probably can’t fully grasp it right now.
But that doesn’t stop us from thanking them:
Through irreversible loss, they’ve created an indelible narrative.
