Brevis Vera is now fully open to the public, providing a media authenticity verification solution
On May 20th, according to official sources, Brevis Vera, a media authenticity verification tool launched by ZK's intelligent verifiable computing platform Brevis, is now fully open to the public. It is reported that users can use any camera or mobile phone that supports C2PA to take pictures. C2PA allows devices to encrypt and sign media content at the moment of shooting/collection, bind the content to hardware, and generate source metadata with tamper proof features. After uploading the image to Brevis Vera, users can perform editing operations on the image. Based on Brevis Pico zkVM, every step of editing the image by the user can be traced and verified. When publishing, users will receive two files: one is the edited image (PNG format); Another is the proof file (in. bproof format), which records the original signature, every edit, etc. While ensuring that the original media and editing process enjoy privacy protection throughout the entire process, anyone can verify the image and proof through a browser, confirming that the image is taken from real hardware devices, only allowed editing operations have been applied, and there is no hidden or added content during the process. Brevis Vera is an important exploration of Brevis' construction of "the world's best ZK technology". By transforming the problem of media authenticity authentication from "detection" to "traceability", Brevis Vera avoids the drawbacks of traditional AI detection lag and achieves more efficient and reliable authenticity verification. In the next few weeks, several professional photographers specializing in nature, wildlife, and portrait photography will release, edit, and proofread works based on Brevis Vera, and share their views on verifiable sources of images through a series of podcasts and conversations.
