[US Media: America Evaluates Threat of Attack Drones from Cuba] According to a report by Jinse Finance on May 17, citing AXIOS, classified intelligence reveals that Cuba has acquired more than 300 military drones and has recently begun discussing plans to use these drones to attack the U.S. Guantanamo Bay base, U.S. naval vessels, and Key West, Florida, located 90 miles north of Havana. A senior U.S. official stated that this intelligence could serve as a pretext for U.S. military action. It indicates that due to the development of drone warfare and the presence of "Iranian military advisors" in Havana, the Trump administration has regarded Cuba as a threat. A CIA official disclosed that CIA Director John Ratcliffe traveled to Cuba on Thursday to directly warn Cuban officials against engaging in hostile actions. He also urged Cuban authorities to abandon their authoritarian government to lift the severe U.S. sanctions.
