Senate Banking Committee today approved its version of the Clarity Act creating a federal regulatory framework for digital assets, on a 15-9 vote, favorably sending it to the Senate floor. Democratic Senators Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) and Angela Alsobrooks (D-MD) joined Republicans in voting Yes. The House passed its version of the bill last year in July 294-134.(Craig Caplan)
