[Senator Warren's Amendment to Disclose Epstein Banking Records Rejected Again] Foresight News reports in real-time that during the Senate Banking Committee's review of the CLARITY Act, Warren's Amendment No. 66 was rejected with 11 votes in favor and 13 against. The amendment called for federal banking regulators to disclose bank examination records related to Jeffrey Epstein and his associates. In her statement, Warren cited previously disclosed documents from the U.S. Department of Justice, stating that Epstein invested $3 million in Coinbase through his company in 2014, making him one of the exchange's early investors. She also noted that Epstein "recognized early on the potential of cryptocurrency as a tool for secret payments." Warren further revealed that JPMorgan Chase processed over 4,700 transactions for Epstein between 1998 and 2013, totaling more than $1 billion, including transfers to Russian banks. She had previously urged banking regulators under the Trump administration to investigate bank executives who assisted Epstein but has yet to receive a response.
