[Vance: U.S.-Iran Negotiations Making Progress, Currently Focused on Diplomatic Channels]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, on May 14, U.S. Vice President Vance stated on Wednesday local time: 'Regarding negotiations with Iran, I believe progress is being made. We are currently focused on diplomatic channels and had discussions this morning with Special Envoy Whitkoff and Kushner. The fundamental issue in the negotiations is whether we can make sufficient progress to meet the red line set by Trump. This red line is very straightforward. He needs to be assured that we have implemented adequate safeguards to ensure that Iran will never possess nuclear weapons.'
When discussing the previously released CPI data, Vance said: 'Last month's inflation data was not ideal. The President, I, and the entire team are concerned about the financial well-being of the American people.'
