[Analyst: South Korea's Chip Exports in May Expected to Hit Record High]
Odaily Planet Daily News – South Korea Daishin Securities analyst Lee Kyoung-min stated that investors' risk appetite has been boosted by the following factors: the continued growth in semiconductor demand aligning with the investment cycle of artificial intelligence infrastructure, as well as the recent rise in Wall Street tech stocks. The analyst noted that South Korea's chip exports in May are expected to reach a historic high. According to South Korean government data, in the first 10 days of this month, South Korea's chip export value surged nearly 150% year-on-year, reaching a record-breaking $8.54 billion. (Jin10)
