The operation was part of the Strike Force Andalusia investigation, launched in September 2024, which spanned 15 months. Police tracked a large Bitcoin wallet holding proceeds from dark web marketplaces and ultimately identified two male suspects, aged 39 and 41. The two men were charged with supplying prohibited drugs and transferring over 100,000 AUD in dark web-related cryptocurrency.
