According to S&P Global Intelligence data, commercial vessels operated by registered shipping companies have not passed through the Strait of Hormuz since Tuesday. In the past seven days, 1018 ships have been tracked within a 200 mile radius of the strait, with activities mainly limited to shadow fleets, local Iranian trade vessels, and a small number of small boats passing through. Jeremy Domballe, Director of Maritime at S&P Global Intelligence, stated that without a clear solution, the increase in traffic volume may begin with a slow trend rather than a large-scale recovery.
