Mantle community approves providing 30000 ETH credit lines to Aave

According to the snapshot page, Mantle token holders have passed the MIP-34 proposal with 110 million MNTs (100%) in favor, authorizing Mantle Treasury to provide a credit limit of up to 30000 ETH (approximately $680 million) to Aave DAO to address the bad debt issue caused by the rsETH cross chain vulnerability on April 18th. The loan interest rate is Lido pledge yield plus 1%, with a maximum term of 36 months, and can be repaid in advance. Previously, attackers exploited the Layer Zero bridge vulnerability in Kelp DAO to cast 116500 rsETH without authorization, of which 89600 were deposited into Aave V3 and loaned out approximately $190 million in assets. The potential bad debt size is estimated to be between $124 million and $230 million. Aave will provide no less than $110 million in AAVE tokens as collateral and entrust Mantle with 130000 AAVE governance voting rights.
