BitMine Chairman Tom Lee stated that as the company approaches its goal of 'holding 5% of the total ETH supply,' it may slow down its pace of ETH purchases in the future. Tom Lee mentioned that BitMine is currently purchasing approximately 100,000 ETH per week, and at this rate, it could reach the target in about six weeks. As of this week, BitMine holds approximately 5.1 million ETH, accounting for about 4.29% of the total ETH supply, with a current value of approximately $11.9 billion. Tom Lee also noted that around 85% of BitMine's ETH is currently staked, generating over $300 million in annual staking income. Additionally, BitMine is advancing its $4 billion stock buyback plan and expanding its institutional staking platform MAVAN.
