The U.S. is willing to reach an agreement with Iran, and Iranian ports are ready to provide support services for vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. An analyst stated that the U.S. is showing more serious signs of pursuing a peace agreement with Iran, but questions remain about what compromises it is willing to make. Earlier, an Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that negotiations must be conducted in good faith and cannot be used as a means to coerce the other party. Iran has announced that its ports are prepared to offer maritime services, technical support, supplies, and medical assistance to ships stranded in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran's official news agency IRNA reported that this alert was sent by the Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization via a message to captains of commercial vessels in the Gulf region. All vessels navigating territorial waters, especially those in Iranian waters and ports, can access fuel supplies, medical services, and repair materials. The maritime agency stated that this message will be broadcast three times daily for three days in the region via communication networks and Very High Frequency (VHF) systems. WTI is trending downward, currently hovering around $93.
