QuantWare completes $178 million financing plan to build quantum chip factory

According to Techfundingnews, quantum chip development company QuantWare has raised $178 million in Series B funding, with participation from Intel Capital and IQT. The company plans to build the world's largest quantum chip factory and increase the scale of quantum processors to about 10 times that of current commercial products. QuantWare was founded in 2021 and has supplied to over 50 customers in more than 20 countries, making it one of the largest suppliers of commercial QPU shipments worldwide.
