This is poor journalism from the Times. There is almost certainly no authentic 'suicide note' and the reasons are pretty clear: 1) The only person to claim the note exists is Tartaglione, Epstein's former cellmate. 2) During Epstein's first "suicide attempt" he alleged he blacked out and was attacked, leading questions to be raised about Tartaglione attacking him. 3) Tartaglione is a crooked cop, serving time for a quadruple homicide that is believed to be a hit job. 4) Tartaglione is currently appealing his sentence. 5) Tartaglione claims he found Epstein's suicide note tucked in a book, weeks after the incident, and the timeline of it suggests it was written during his "first attempt" 6) The note does not appear in the Epstein files, the court has not acknowledged its existence, it does not appear in any BOP or OIG reports, despite his lawyer claiming to have turned it over. 7) Bill Barr thought the (potentially fraudulent) postcard found MUCH later could have also been a "suicide note" and would have had no reason to think that, had he known of an actual one under seal. 8) The note itself is referenced in a timeline chain of custody in the Epstein files and referred to as "Chronology", and then was sealed as part of Tartaglione's case, not Epstein's. Tartaglione "finding a suicide note" weeks after, that would "prove his innocence" on the assault/attempted murder case, and only raising it again years later while he is appealing his sentence and trying to appear as a model inmate, is simply not credible. But the documentation of the note, suggests that every credible person who has looked at it, deems this either to be fake, or notes by Tartaglione, trying to prove his innocence and it is *only* Tartaglione who still suggests its a suicide note.(Adam Cochran (adamscochran.eth))
