Vast Data raises 1 billion yuan in financing, valuation rises to 30 billion yuan

Artificial intelligence startup Vast Data announced the completion of a $1 billion funding round, valuing the company at $30 billion, with investors including Nvidia. Vast was founded in 2016 and focuses on providing large-scale data management software infrastructure for AI applications. Its technology supports millions of GPU computing projects, with clients including CoreWeave, Mistral, the US Air Force, and Cursor. This round of financing has increased its valuation by more than three times compared to the $9.1 billion raised in 2023.
