This MM bull market, aside from MM itself, the ones truly making gains should logically be CEX and @Aster_DEX. Because CEXs more or less have some restrictions, like account bans and stuff.
But Aster is a DEX, so there's no such thing as account bans, and its liquidity is connected to Binance CEX. That’s why a lot of MM tokens are exploding on Aster, like Based yesterday, which skyrocketed—its 24-hour trading volume was 4x that of hl hip3 (and during the peak on the 16th, it was 11x).
Other trending tokens like rave, genius, skyai, siren, and soon are also seeing decent trading volumes on Aster. Some even have prices that are often higher than Binance’s contract prices.
I’ve already started moving some of my trades over to Aster.
But logically speaking, if that’s the case, why is ASTER’s token price not moving at all? When the hype is up, it doesn’t follow, and even when altcoins are going crazy, it’s barely reacting—it’s moving like a stablecoin. Can someone explain this?
