World ID protocol upgrade covers 180 million users

According to a World announcement, on April 18th, World announced a major upgrade to the World ID protocol, covering approximately 18 million Orb verified users worldwide and expanding to over 160 countries. This upgrade introduces practical application scenarios such as Tinder real person authentication, Zoom anti deepfake verification, and ticketing tool Concert Kit, and launches an independent World ID application (beta version) and open-source SDK. At the technical level, new features such as key management have been added, and applications such as Reddit and Razer have been explored in the ecosystem. World ID will charge active users for accessing applications, and users will use it for free.
