Zonda cold wallet unable to access 4503 bitcoins due to non transfer of private key

Exchange Zonda stated that its cold wallet, which holds 4503 bitcoins (worth approximately $334 million), is currently inaccessible. CEO Przemys ł aw Kral stated that the private key was originally intended to be handed over by the founder and former CEO Sylvester Suszek, but he has been missing since 2022. Przemys ł aw Kral denies allegations of misappropriation of funds and claims that negative reports have led to a surge in withdrawal requests. Zonda plans to take legal action against false statements and promises to fulfill customer obligations. The exchange was renamed Zonda from BitBay in 2021.
