[U.S. Military Reportedly Has No Plans to Fire on Oil Tankers Departing from Iranian Ports]
According to a report by Jinse Finance on April 15, two U.S. officials stated that vessels linked to Iran, seized during the U.S. military's blockade operations at Iranian ports, will be relocated to temporary holding areas in the Arabian Sea or the Indian Ocean until a "permanent settlement location" is determined. The U.S. officials mentioned that the military might use drones to target speedboats of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, but there are currently no plans to fire on oil tankers departing from Iranian ports. One of the officials noted that the U.S. is assessing additional vessels that could potentially be seized. As the blockade operations progress, several oil tankers have altered their course when approaching the Strait of Hormuz. (CCTV News)
