[Genius Responds to Airdrop Controversy: 'Refund' Feature Added to Airdrop Plan Based on Community Feedback] Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on April 13, the Genius team, in collaboration with the core team and advisors, prioritized and listened to community needs based on feedback. In the latest airdrop documentation, the official team has added a 'refund' option, allowing users to perform relevant operations during the airdrop process. According to the official announcement, users can choose to destroy their entire GENIUS airdrop allocation within 48 hours after the TGE and receive a refund of the net transaction fees charged by the platform. Genius emphasized that the refund is based on net fees rather than total fees. The platform has already refunded over $7 million to the trading community and paid out more than $1.3 million in referral rewards, both of which have been deducted from the refundable amount. Additionally, the refund only covers fees collected by Genius itself; fees charged by third-party protocols (such as PancakeSwap) are not included in the refund scope. The official statement clarified that the decision to hold GENIUS tokens or apply for a refund is entirely up to the users. They also warned that any misinformation regarding 'partial refunds' will be addressed immediately.
