[All Members of the U.S. Negotiation Delegation Have Left Pakistan]
Golden Finance reported on April 12 that a U.S. official stated on April 12 local time that after the U.S.-Iran talks concluded, all members of the U.S. negotiation team had left Pakistan. The official noted that personnel, including Whitcroft, Kushner, and the technical team, did not remain in Pakistan's capital, indicating that direct negotiations between the two sides will not resume immediately. Earlier that day, Vance said at a press conference held in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, that the U.S. had not reached a consensus with Iran and would return to the United States. The U.S.-Iran talks in Islamabad concluded on April 12 without any agreements being reached. The Iranian side stated that the negotiations were conducted in an atmosphere of "mistrust and suspicion," with disagreements on two or three key issues. The U.S. side claimed that it had made its "red lines" very clear, but the Iranian side did not accept the U.S. conditions. (CCTV News)
