As KOLs, everyone actually understands the importance of traffic.
But to be honest, the long-term value of the "black traffic" that is generated through methods such as P charts and collision porcelain exchanges is really limited.
Over the past few years, the voice of the Chinese community in the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency markets has been gradually weakening, which is a reality that needs to be taken seriously.
I used to often criticize the exchange because there were indeed many users who had lost money on it. But later on, I gradually realized that relying solely on confrontation and attacks to gain traffic is actually a very short path.
It is difficult for those who truly want to create long-term content and solidify their personal brand to go far by making enemies. After all, no exchange manager is willing to collaborate deeply with KOLs who like to stir up trouble.
Which platform do you use? It's personal freedom. Binance OKX、Bybit、Bitget, The fact that these exchanges with Chinese backgrounds are expanding globally is something worth considering positively.
Looking at it from a different perspective, if the industry's discourse power becomes increasingly in the hands of overseas teams in the future, and we continue to use this low-quality approach to attract attention, it will actually be difficult to truly gain respect, and we may not even have the opportunity to be taken seriously.
So my judgment is:
Relying on "black traffic" and "black public relations" to attract attention may be effective in the short term, but in the long run, it will consume personal reputation and the entire industry ecosystem.
What is truly valuable and can go far is to continuously produce high-quality content, establish trust, and be a positive builder for the industry
PS: I suddenly remembered that about 6 years ago, when I was still working at an exchange, there were various black PR professionals in the industry who specialized in spreading rumors and smearing, asking them to delete posts, and then charging millions of dollars for deletion fees. To put it nicely, it's not easy for self media to make money, but to put it bluntly, it's like making a living through extortion and blackmail. The same goes for KOLs
