CertiK: Nearly $800 million in security losses in 2026

According to CertiK Alert data, 163 security incidents have been recorded since January 1, 2026, with a total loss of approximately $796.7 million. Among them, at least 12 incidents are related to North Korea, involving Step Finance, Bitrefill, Drift Protocol, etc., with a loss amount of approximately $329 million, accounting for approximately 42% of the total loss. By comparison, losses related to North Korea will account for approximately 60% in 2025.
