[Media: The venue for the US-Iran negotiations will be heavily guarded, talks may last several days]
Deep Tide TechFlow reports, on April 9, according to Turkey's Anadolu Agency, Pakistani government sources stated that US and Iranian delegations will hold "direct" negotiations in Islamabad, aiming to reach a "permanent ceasefire" agreement. The talks, scheduled to begin on Saturday, may extend beyond one day. Pakistan is preparing to host the negotiations. The meeting will take place at a heavily guarded military facility organized by the Pakistani military. According to sources, the negotiations do not have a fixed timetable and will include both direct and indirect interactions between the delegations. "The two sides will also hold face-to-face talks and separate meetings with Pakistan." Given the "complexity of the issues," discussions may last "several days." Sources noted that, for security reasons, direct negotiations may not exceed two to three days.
