Bitcoin Depot was hacked and lost approximately $3.7 million in BTC

Cryptocurrency ATM operator Bitcoin Depot has disclosed that it lost approximately 50.9 bitcoins in a cybersecurity incident on March 23, which is worth approximately $3.7 million at current prices. Hackers infiltrated some internal systems by obtaining credentials related to the company's enterprise level Bitcoin wallet. Bitcoin Depot stated that customer accounts, platforms, and personal data were not affected.
