Monad Foundation Launches Dedicated Laptop Subsidy Program for Protocol Teams with TVL Over $2.5 Million

Foresight News reports that Monad tweeted the announcement of a subsidy program by the Monad Foundation to cover the cost of dedicated signing laptops for protocol teams whose TVL (Total Value Locked) reaches or exceeds $2.5 million. These laptops are intended for multi-signature operations, treasury management, and other critical tasks. Eligible teams can contact the Monad Foundation to apply, though the subsidy may require additional security training and standard KYC procedures. Monad emphasized that signing devices must never be the same as the computers used daily for browsing, coding, or meetings.
Earlier, Foresight News reported that Monad co-founder Keone Hon tweeted that protocol teams should immediately adopt dedicated signing computers for multi-signature operations and stop using everyday computers. He pointed out that everyday computers are highly susceptible to hacking. If a computer is compromised, even when connected to a hardware wallet, the signing process could be maliciously altered, leading to security risks. The Monad Foundation may introduce incentive mechanisms in the future to encourage teams to adopt this approach.
