Shout out to @mlmabc for the free short!
Similar to XPL a few days ago, another cluster of addresses just tried to manipulate Fartcoin on Hyperliquid. The difference is that with XPL last time, the manipulators successfully took profits and then moved the liquidation price upward to trigger forced liquidation. But this time, the cluster of addresses got force-liquidated directly before they could take any profits.
This type of attack leveraging Perp DEX mechanisms has happened quite a few times already, from JellyJelly and Popcat in the past to more recent cases like ARC and XPL. If you can anticipate the manipulators' intentions in advance and pair that with address monitoring, there’s a good chance to profit from it. This is one of the unique opportunities in crypto—on-chain information is equal-access, and those who are more meticulous, hardworking, and sharp often reap the rewards.
