Recently, a lot of people on Twitter are messing around with Openclaw alternatives again.
But ever since Claude Code's official Telegram integration came out, I’ve barely used Openclaw anymore—seriously, highly recommend it
Claude Code is super strong when it comes to multi-step continuous execution and directing other Agents to get things done. Especially when you set it to default pull up subagents, the main session basically doesn’t get blocked. You can throw a bunch of complex tasks at it simultaneously, and it handles them clearly, pushing forward step by step and getting things done.
This means that through TG, it’s kind of like commanding a tireless, super-efficient employee: you can assign tasks anytime, anywhere, and most of the time, you don’t have to worry about follow-ups.
For example, you can have it design a plan on its own, iterate over multiple rounds overnight, and collaborate with Codex Review—it all works smoothly, with almost no issues. Compared to the old Openclaw + GPT setup, where things would often get interrupted mid-process and require constant confirmations, this is on a whole different level.
Also, the Mac mini is definitely a great piece of hardware: it can run silently 24/7 without taking up much space.
Now the only bottleneck left is basically the cost of burning tokens
