On April 8th, the latest report from Hashrate Index showed that Iran's Bitcoin computing power decreased by about 7 EH/s (Ahh/s) in the past quarter, and is currently only about 2 EH/s, a sharp drop of 77% compared to the previous quarter. Ian Philpott, Marketing Director of Luxor Technology, pointed out that the impact of regional conflicts is limited to Iran, while the computing power of the United Arab Emirates and Oman remains stable, and the global computing power still maintains about 1000 EH/s. The report mentioned that the Middle East conflict escalated after the US and Israel launched strikes against Iran in February this year, and Iran is currently estimated to have 427000 active Bitcoin mining machines.
