According to Yahoo Finance, SpaceX's goal is to achieve a valuation of $2 trillion in its highly anticipated IPO. A day ago, this target was still $1.75 trillion, which can only be said to be too hot. There are several points to discuss about SpaceX's IPO: 1. This will be the largest IPO in human history, and Lao Ma will also become the first richest person in history with assets exceeding trillions of dollars;
2. SpaceX is partnering with at least 21 banks to prepare for its heavyweight initial public offering (IPO), which will be one of the largest underwriting groups in recent years: Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, and Citigroup will serve as active book managers or lead underwriters, with 16 banks playing smaller roles, highlighting the scale and complexity of the issuance plan.
3. With an IPO market value of up to $2 trillion, it must be admitted that the previous IPO dividends have disappeared (not only SpaceX, but also OpenAI and Authentic will face this problem after going public). The primary market has benefited too much from growth dividends, while the parachutes left for the secondary market are not significant.
4. SpaceX will also be the fastest listed company to enter the Nasdaq 100 index, as Nasdaq has modified its rules for SpaceX (abolishing the requirement to be listed for at least one year before being included in the index). The advantage is that the newly listed shares with small circulation (only 5% of circulation) can still be traded, but the problem is that global investors, especially those who allocate funds to US stocks through ETFs (after being included in the index), will passively buy these assets that have not been fully priced by the secondary market (the listing time is too short, at least one year ago, during which there will be no need for the lifting of restricted shares). In essence, this is not a good phenomenon.
5. On Wednesday, NASA's Artemis 2 crew was on their way to the moon after a successful launch. The Orion spacecraft, codenamed "Integrity," took off on a 320 foot high Space Launch System (SLS) rocket late Wednesday and is currently about 40000 miles away from Earth.
If all tests are normal, the Orion spacecraft will perform the Earth Moon transfer into orbit operation, detach from Earth's orbit, and embark on a four-day lunar landing journey. This step will embark on an irreversible deep space voyage, and these astronauts will also become the first NASA astronauts to venture into deep space since the 1970s.
5. The launch of SpaceX and the successful landing of the Orion spacecraft on the moon should drive a wave of space economy boom. Have you previously sorted out the targets of space economy here: https://(x.com)/qinbufark/status/2000536724523663822? s=46&t=k6rimWsEbo2D2tXolYcM-A
