**[South Korea Survey: Over 80% of Teenagers and Adults Deeply Concerned About AI-Driven Cyberbullying]** DeepTech TechFlow reports, on March 30, according to Yonhap News Agency, the Korea Communications Commission (KMCC) conducted a survey between September and November last year involving 9,296 middle and high school students and 7,521 adults aged 19 to 69. The results showed that 89.4% of teenagers and 87.6% of adults believe AI-driven cyberbullying is a serious issue, primarily encompassing forms such as deepfake videos and the spread of false information. The survey revealed that teenagers are most concerned about the low threshold for AI tools to generate content, while adults are more worried about the potential long-term harm caused by AI-generated content. Regarding actual victimization, in 2025, 42.3% of teenagers experienced cyberbullying (a 0.5 percentage point decrease year-on-year), while the proportion of adults affected rose to 15.8% (a 2.3 percentage point increase year-on-year). Strangers were identified as the primary perpetrators, with text messages and social media being the main channels of abuse.
